Rhubarb-mania
I was just reading my pal’s LJ post about him being the pesto-man and I think it’s safe to say that this past month I’ve been the rhubarb-gal. I keep getting fresh rhubarb from people’s gardens. And so what’s a gal to do when strawberries and rhubarb are so plentiful? Make a crisp of course! My family downs the entire 9 inch pan in less than 24h. I’m on to my third batch which I’ll be putting together tomorrow morning. I even had some at vegan-friendly Stone Soup in Burlington VT but the ‘barb was a little crunchy :-/
