I just realized that it’s been raining for the past 3 days (in Gloucester). Without the proper rain gear I’ve been stuck inside virtually all day long. I had all these grandiose plans to go outside and take some pictures of the area, as well as head down to the post office and mail out some holiday goodies to friends. Irregardless, I’ve kept myself pretty busy working on my knitting, drawing, music writing, online gift shopping, etc… Maybe a lil less sun = more creativity for me? But seriously I’m beginning to feel like I’m in the Pacific Northwest instead of Massachusetts. Where’s the snow?

I’ve been starting to listen to classical music… it started with Débussy’s Clair de Lune, and it’s all thanks to the help of Pandora (which will not work in Canada unfortunately – damn music licensing). I think I’m a starting to become a fan of early 20th century composers, especially the Impressionist ones. Their pieces really do inspire a certain emotion or feeling and its perfect morning or bedtime music.
